Community Outreach

The PTOC Community Outreach Committee brings together all of the PTO outreach committees, at all eight of our local schools, to help coordinate townwide initiatives.

1) Join us at OrangeTheory, New Providence Fundraiser on October 15 at 12:45pm to Support United Hatzalah.  Please consider attending. You do not need to be a member, this event is open to all. Details about United Hatzalah are n the list below.

2) Card Drive for Israeli Soldiers who are currently fighting.  Cards must be dropped by Tuesday, 10/17/23  at 85 Hillside Avenue, Short Hills, NJ.

1Magen David Adom - A paramedic and Red Cross service that is a leader in mass-casualty response and EMS technology.  Currently Matched by Bloomberg for each dollar raised. Click here.

2) United Hatzalah - the largest independent, fully volunteer emergency medical service organization committed to providing the fastest response to medical emergencies. Click here.

7) Zaka: Zaka paramedics are on call and deployed all over the country. They also have another profoundly sad but necessary job: According to Jewish law, they honor the dead and ensure a full Jewish burial for victims of sudden death. Click Here

8) Israel Under Fire - SPNI Emergency Campaign: Providing safe housing for free for families evacuated from the border communities attacked by Hamas in SPNI's Field Schools. Click Here 

9) Jewish Agency Fund: The Jewish Agency’s Fund for Victims of Terror has been providing immediate, critical financial assistance to victims and their families. They have already disbursed hundreds of grants, arriving with checks within 24-48 hours, and anticipate distributing more, while also following up with long-term overall recovery and rehabilitative support.
